Kellie M. Martin, a native of the United States is an American TV and film actress. She is most famous for her roles as Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher and Lucy Knight on the series ER. Her other roles of note include the title role of The Hailey Dean Mystery series. Martin's acting career started at age 7 when an aunt, an ex-nanny who looked after for the children of Michael Landon, helped secure a spot as a special actor in the film of the same name, 'Father Murphy.' Martin began her professional acting career when she graduated from Yale University. This led to her landing substantial part-time roles in the TV and film industry. Martin as well as acting, she is also a skilled photographer and ballet dancer. Mother of two daughters Martin is the Lupus ambassador and has been spreading awareness of the disease each day following the passing of her sister at 19 years old.
